Tax Analyst - CapEx, US CapEx Team

About the role

This role supports the Worldwide CapEx team with the reporting of US income tax consequences for Amazon’s unparalleled portfolio of assets. Areas of focus include operating and finance leases, depreciation of fixed assets, amortization of intangibles, and cost recovery of digital content.

What you'll do

• Assist in preparation of deferred tax reconciliations for CapEx assets; identify drivers of basis differences
• Identify and assist in implementing process improvements which increase efficiency, scalability, and accuracy of data
• Assist in build and implementation of analysis and metrics reports to be communicated to tax management, finance partners, and external auditors
• Assist in coordinating information requests with business partners and external service providers to ensure accurate and timely inclusion within various tax reporting…
• Participate in special projects as assigned

What you need
