Tax Analyst-Senior

About the role

The role combines VAT reporting, reconciliations, audit support, adviser coordination, system testing and process improvement, working across Tax, Finance, AP, AR, Procurement and IT.

What you'll do

• Manage assigned EMEA VAT compliance activities, including VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, Intrastat and filing evidence
• Maintain compliance calendars, monitor deadlines, investigate reporting exceptions and escalate risks promptly
• Extract, validate and analyse data from Oracle, SAP and other finance systems
• Review returns prepared by external advisers and ensure issues are corrected before filing
• Perform VAT balance-sheet, VAT-to-GL, AP/AR-to-GL and related reconciliations
