Tax Governance Manager, Tax and Account Compliance

About the role

We are looking for a Tax Governance Risk Manager to join the TAC team and help build and run the governance function for Amazon's worldwide tax compliance programmes. This is a small, high-impact team where everyone contributes to shaping how governance works, not just executing it. making the Holistic Tax Governance Framework work in practice across 100+ tax regulations.

What you'll do

• You send reminders and note the escalation path
• One indicator is moving in the wrong direction
• You document the finding and draft the agenda item for the next Quarterly Governance Review
• Before close, you pull together the weekly governance status report and flag two items that need senior attention
• Your days will blend regulatory analysis, cross-functional delivery, and stakeholder coordination across multiple time zones
