About the role

As a Tax Consultant II supporting German Tax Compliance, you will work on individual tax return compliance and connected activities while collaborating with teams in India, Germany, and the broader Deloitte network. This role offers exposure to cross-border tax processes, global stakeholder interaction, and opportunities to build technical and operational capabilities in a growing practice.

What you'll do

• Prepare and support German tax compliance activities for individual taxpayers
• Monitor client information, including work status and contact details, and manage the setup and coordination of the compliance process
• Identify and document issues, prepare client queries, and respond to technical questions from clients in coordination with the engagement team
• Maintain and update trackers and status reports for internal and external reporting purposes while communicating regularly with the team on client status and progress
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore stakeholders to support timely, accurate delivery and provide exceptional client service across the compliance lifecycle
