About the role

CIMax/DB2 Specialist responsible for providing deep expertise in a legacy insurance applications and DB2-based data repositories during the data modernization journey. The role supports data discovery, profiling, extraction, mapping, and migration of historical and operational data into the Databricks Lakehouse platform.

What you'll do

  • Analyze CIMax and DB2 data structures, relationships, and business rules supporting crop insurance operations
  • Perform data profiling, source system assessments, and mapping activities for migration to the Lakehouse platform
  • Identify data dependencies, transformation requirements, historical retention strategies, and reconciliation controls
  • Collaborate with Guidewire, domain, and engineering teams to harmonize legacy and target-state datasets
  • Validate data completeness, accuracy, and consistency across migration cycles
