Accounting Senior Manager

About the role

The Senior Accounting Manager will be based in Hyderabad, India . In this position, you will report to the MEIAT Controller . The Senior Manager will be a key leadership role within the India Global Capability Centre, responsible for building and leading a high-performing team that supports global technical accounting, financial reporting, accounting analytics, close operations, and controllership transformation initiatives.

What you'll do

• Lead and support complex technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP or applicable company accounting policies, including preparation of accounting memos
• Research, evaluate, and document accounting conclusions for complex or non-routine transactions
• Support global or regional accounting assessments related to revenue recognition, contract modifications, cost capitalization, inventory, warranties, leases
• Partner with Corporate Technical Accounting to ensure global consistency in interpretation and application of accounting policies
• Assist in the development, maintenance, and rollout of global accounting policies, procedures, and playbooks
