Area Sales Manager

About the role

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable sales growth and achieving order targets across the assigned territory in India. The role develops territory sales plans, builds customer and channel relationships, identifies market and application opportunities, and advances opportunities through negotiation and close.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute an annual territory sales plan aligned with business objectives and assigned order and revenue targets
• Build and maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline and provide accurate forecasts, activity updates, and market intelligence through Salesforce
• Monitor performance against plan and take corrective action to improve conversion, profitable growth, and customer coverage
• Develop strong relationships with key customers, distributors, representatives, consultants, and market influencers
• Identify customer needs and coordinate application-based technical and commercial solutions with internal teams
