Assistant Manager Unit HR

About the role

Manage key IR/ER, statutory compliance, employee welfare, training and engagement activities while partnering with the business to maintain a positive and productive employee environment.

What you'll do

• Manage Industrial Relations & Employee Relations, including union engagement, grievances, disciplinary cases and workmen issues
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, registers, returns, audits and inspections
• Drive employee welfare activities and act as an interface between employees, union and management
• Plan and execute the annual Training & Development calendar, including compliance and capability-building programs
• Plan and execute the annual Employee Engagement calendar and employee connect initiatives

What you need

• 6–10 yrs of experience
• Labour law
• Statutory compliance

• Negotiation
• BBA or MBA
