Compensation Analyst

About the role

The Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting the HR Compensation team in conducting comprehensive job evaluations, market analyses, and compensation program administration to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices across the organization. This role serves as a key partner to HR Business Partners and business leaders in evaluating positions, conducting side-by-side comparisons, and providing data-driven compensation recommendations.

What you'll do

• Conduct thorough job evaluations and analyses to determine appropriate job classifications, organizational placement, and internal equity alignment
• Prepare detailed side-by-side job comparisons to assess role similarities, differences, and appropriate compensation positioning
• Perform market evaluations by analyzing external salary survey data and competitive intelligence to ensure market-competitive compensation practices
• Review, analyze, and approve compensation-related transactions in Workday, including new hires, promotions, transfers, and salary adjustments
• Participate in compensation surveys by matching company positions to survey jobs, submitting accurate data, and analyzing results for market trends
