Connected Lab Specialist

About the role

The Connected Lab Specialist supports the deployment, configuration, integration and continuous improvement of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and laboratory data management solutions across bp’s R&D laboratories, but with particular focus on setting up the new Bengaluru Technology Centre for Day 1 operations.

What you'll do

• Facilitate requirements gathering activities through workshops, interviews, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement
• Engage with scientists, laboratory personnel, and domain experts (SMEs) to understand current laboratory workflows, sample management processes, data requirements
• Identify and develop use cases for AI Innovation. Support development of reporting and analytics capabilities that improve decision making
• Support the definition of project scope, objectives, requirements, and success criteria for LIMS deployment
• Document business, process, functional, integration, and reporting requirements using agreed standards and methodologies

What you need

• 7–13 yrs of experience
• Power BI
• SQL

• B.Tech or B.E.
