Electrical Design Engineer - Renewable Energy

About the role

Finalize grid connection architecture in consultation with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs). Stay updated on relevant IEC standards for the design of solar plants and equipment. Conceptualize PV plants, including layout design and sizing of cables and equipment for both DC and AC systems. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) and PVsyst; experience with ETAP or any BESS analysis software is a plus

What you'll do

• Collaborate with prospective EPC companies to finalize parameters, layouts, and quality aspects during the pre-bid stage
• Work on substation projects up to 110 kV
• Conduct technical and quality assessments of PV modules
• Provide technical support for the operation and maintenance of existing plants
• Develop layout plans, single-line diagrams (SLDs), cable trench layouts, and other essential drawings
