FP&A Analyst

About the role

The FP&A Analyst will own budgeting, forecasting, actuals reporting and variance analysis for assigned Engineering, IT and non-engineering cost centers and projects. The role also supports month-end closing activities, headcount reporting, project finance (WBS, capitalization, Workday Projects) and ad-hoc / scenario-based analysis for India leadership (SMT), Engineering Directors and global finance teams.

What you'll do

• Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts for assigned cost centers and projects; load them into the planning system; run scenario analysis
• Analyze actuals vs budget, prior forecast and prior year (monthly and YTD), with bridges and clear commentary
• Consolidate and report headcount; align with approved positions and budget; reconcile to cost centers
• Support month-end close, including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations, in coordination with the accounting team
• Project Finance & Capitalization
