Manager, Taxation

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Taxation Manager who excels at both strategic management and hands-on execution. You will own the end-to-end direct and indirect tax function for Seismic's global group. The role collaborates closely with the Senior leadership of Finance and GA on strategic initiatives, and carries deep, hands-on ownership of tax and statutory compliance in India, where you will build the local processes and compliance team.

What you'll do

• Own the global direct and indirect tax strategy, compliance calendar and risk framework across the US, Canada, India, France, the UK, Germany, China and Australia
• Manage and monitor direct, indirect and other tax filings globally, standardizing reporting and deliverables for compliance
• Partner with 3rd party service providers in each country to gain a deep understanding of local tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Manage tax audits, assessments and inquiries worldwide, and monitor tax law changes to advise on business impact and planning opportunities
• Provide tax support on new products, pricing, contracts, M&A, entity restructuring and expansion into new markets
