Marketing Engineer

About the role

Marco Polo Learning is building a self-purchase, subscription website and end-to-end buying experience for individual customers (a "bottom-up" growth motion, distinct from our top-down sales team).

What you'll do

• Design the self-purchase subscription experience: landing pages, sign-up, trial, and checkout — the layout, flow, and presentation of pricing/packaging
• Design the activation and onboarding sequence: what a new user sees, is told, and is prompted to do after signing up
• Own the copy and messaging strategy across the funnel (emails, in-app messaging, landing pages) — writing it or directing whoever does
• Partner with an engineering/automation resource and/or AI tools to get the designed funnel actually built and wired up — this role directs and reviews the build
• Define what to test (design variations, pricing, onboarding steps, messaging) and read the results to keep improving conversion and activation
