Product support Manager-Deputy Manager (MG3)-Service Department-Distribution and Aftermarket Business Unit-Pune

About the role

This role is responsible for ensuring peak operational reliability of Power Cars, DG sets, engines, and alternators by driving structured root cause analysis, extracting and analyzing monthly failure data dumps, developing technical documentation, facilitating site-level troubleshooting, and collaborating with QA and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) teams.

What you'll do

• Responsible for ensuring peak operational reliability of Power Cars, DG sets, engines, and alternators by driving structured root cause analysis
• Define precise problem statements and generate Product Defect Files (PDFs) for top-failed parts
• Track and monitor PDFs through the entire lifecycle until final closure and verification of field effectiveness
• Perform data logging and analysis of electronic engine parameters, fault codes, and performance metrics to identify operational anomalies
• Track engineering changes and product improvements to ensure field issues are addressed at the manufacturing and design levels
