Project Design Lead

About the role

Vogt Power International is looking for a talented CAD Design Coordinator/PDL/Checker to work on a multi-disciplined project team based out of Babcock Power APAC Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. Perform complete and thorough checking of Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) non-pressure assemblies, pressure parts, structural component assemblies and detail drawings of equipment.

What you'll do

• Review project customer specifications
• Prepare major assembly, section and detail drawings and itemized bill of materials
• Coordinate with Project Design Lead on the project to which they are assigned
• Communicate and assist other departments with calculations and data sheets
• Develop and maintain 3D models of piping and equipment
