Senior Accountant, Family Office

About the role

A senior, hands-on finance role overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of a private family office. Responsible for end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting across multiple entities, including holding companies, operating businesses, real estate and private investments, often involving multiple currencies.

What you'll do

• Accounts Payable & Cash Management: Manage multi-currency payables, invoice coding, approval workflows, controlled disbursements and cash monitoring
• Investment & Partnership Accounting: Oversee accounting for private funds and direct investments, including capital calls, distributions, management fees, valuations
• Reconciliations & Financial Reporting: Reconcile bank, credit card, brokerage and balance sheet accounts, investigate discrepancies, and prepare cash, liquidity
• Process Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities to streamline finance operations through automation, templates and workflow tools
• External Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors and fund administrators, overseeing audit preparation, tax filings and reporting requirements
