About the role

The role involves leading end-to-end financial reporting, insurance accounting, and operational governance within a controlled US insurance reporting environment. The Senior Manager is responsible for strategic oversight, stakeholder management, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving high-impact business decisions while leading large teams and complex reporting functions.

What you'll do

• Responsible for strategic oversight, stakeholder management, ensuring regulatory compliance
• Lead and oversee insurance accounting and reporting deliverables, ensuring accurate coordination with multiple counterparties
• Drive quarterly financial analysis, including trend and variance analysis across income statement and balance sheet accounts
• Ensure accurate, timely, and well-controlled financial statements, including US GAAP, STAT, and consolidated reporting
• Collaborate closely with onshore stakeholders to ensure accurate journal entries and accounting treatment for reinsurance activities
