Trade Operations Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Trading Operations professional with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in equity and options markets to join our trading desk. In this role, you will independently monitor live trading activity, execute orders manually, manage positions through market hours, and act as the first line of defence against errors and risk breaches.

What you'll do

• Independently monitor live positions, orders and market movements on trading terminals throughout market hours
• Execute, modify and cancel orders manually across equities and F&O as per trading instructions, with speed and accuracy
• Track positions, margin utilisation and intraday P&L in real time, and act quickly on discrepancies
• Identify and escalate price spikes, erroneous fills, rejected orders, limit breaches and unusual market activity
• Manage expiry-day operations, including monitoring of open option positions, rollovers and physical settlement exposure

What you need

• 2–3 yrs of experience
• Excel
• Reporting
• Reconciliation
• SOP writing
• B.Com

• SEBI regulations
