Business Development Associate

About the role

You will be part of the Growth Team that is the face of Plum, consulting and advising CBOs, VPs, CHROs and Founders on building great employee benefits plans and risk mitigation strategies for their teams and businesses. This team’s recent wins include First Club, Simon Kucher, Flixbus and Hubspot. You'll research accounts, run and own your outbound efforts end-to-end.

What you'll do

• Research and prioritize target accounts within focus segments
• Work closely with Sales Consultants to understand what makes a lead "good" and continuously sharpen your targeting and messaging
• Keep clean, accurate records of outreach and pipeline activity
• Own discovery calls and learn how enterprise deals get built and closed
• See how Marketing, BD, Partnerships and Sales connect. This is a vantage point most first jobs don't offer
