Manager – Payroll & Compliance

About the role

We are looking for a Payroll Manager – Payroll & Compliance to own and manage the organization’s end-to-end payroll function. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely and compliant payroll processing while driving strong payroll controls, statutory compliance, reconciliations, audits and reporting.

What you'll do

• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, TDS, Gratuity and other applicable statutory requirements
• Manage monthly payroll taxation, TDS calculations, tax declarations, investment proofs and Form 16 processes
• Conduct detailed payroll reconciliation across HRMS, payroll records, bank statements and Finance/accounting records
• Work closely with Finance on payroll accounting, salary disbursement, month-end closure and reconciliation
• Prepare and publish payroll MIS, headcount reports, payroll analytics and management dashboards
