Strategic Account Executive - India

About the role

The Strategic Account Executive will join our enterprise sales team, which focuses on driving GitLab adoption with large customers in the India market. The team is responsible for the full relationship lifecycle with enterprise accounts, from initial engagement through long-term expansion and advocacy, ensuring customers realize value from GitLab’s DevSecOps platform.

What you'll do

• Drive the full enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline generation through qualification, evaluation, negotiation, and close
• Partner closely with Sales Development Representatives, Solutions Architects, Customer Success, system integrators
• Develop and maintain detailed account plans for priority customers, including opportunity mapping, stakeholder alignment
• Tailor your approach to each segment: a compliance- and risk-led value story for BFSI, and a modernisation-, productivity-
• Prepare activity and forecast reports, contribute to forecasting and pipeline reviews
